  1. Very nice watch advice, I like watch so much that I want to collect them. I will add the Grand Seiko as dressing watch, the Seiko Spring Drive Diver and Invicta Subaqua as sport watches.

  2. I love how everyone references James bond.

1 you base your style off a fictional character

2 James bonds watch is more than just a style piece its functional and he probably actually does things in his suit you will not be doing

3 you are basing your style off a fictional character

    4 amateurs…

  3. So that absolutely hideous Mondaine is a suitable dress watch but a Rolex Submariner isn't? This chick has nfi what she's talking about.

Protip: a real man wears whatever he likes, regardless of whether women understand it. I buy watches because I admire the engineering. Do I care if a woman doesn't understand the appeal of 300m water resistance or the cool metallurgy of an aluminium bronze case? Nope.

  4. There is the style you talk about, and the things that work for the individual, fini. One constant is the size of the watch one wrist can best accommodate, and that fits .

  5. Glad list didn't had names like VINCERO /MVMT / DW / TH 5th/UNDONE / ORIGINAL GRAIN and that ugly ass dialogue ''Check The Link In Description And Get 20Percent Discount !

  6. All the watches you recommend are way too expensive. I'm not a millionaire. I'd rather wear Vincero. It's a hell of a lot cheaper and serves the same purpose.

  7. Just your opinion. A true collector of Horology items will wear most anything because they like it, not because you do….

  8. Damn, I’m a watch guy (35 watches, at least.) and I’m impressed with your knowledge on watches. You never see a woman with that knows watches at all! Keep it up! Great video. Thanks. BTW, your right on with the IWC watch, beautiful, classic watch that I would love to have and have looked at many times in the past. White dials are definitely the way to go on high end watches. Looking forward to your article.

  9. It really doesn't matter. Just wear what you want when you want. A sub looks fucking gorgeous paired with a suit, and a Calatrava kicks ass with jeans with a t shirt. Once you put rules on a hobby, you'll no longer wear watches for the right reason.

  10. I have a 1968 Rolex date with a blue dial in stainless steel in midsize. It came with a factory metal oyster band. I use it as a dress watch only. Timex for everyday wear.

  11. Very closed minded opinions how wrong you are but right at the same time from a snoby point of view who cares what it Looks like but has no past ooo this looks nice ill wear it instead of oh my grandfather who died a few years ago passed this watch down to me keeping it within the family tree more of this is 2k very expensive lets get it or omg when i wear this watch its brings back memories of such and such

  12. Maybe the reason why women shouldnt tell you what men want and need mighg be smarter for guy to tell you what a guy needs

  13. That's some dumb ass advice. I know next to nothing about watches, but still more than her. Also, for the record, your idiotic subjective opinions are not the same thing as fashion.

  14. A style YouTuber doing a watch video without pumping a bunch of MVMT or DW or Vincero watches down our throats what a concept. For real though great video and the choices were on point.

  15. Great video, very informative: you can tell she put a lot of research into this. It's nice to see some YouTube content covering respectable watch manufacturers rather than the fashion brands. I'd like to see another video dedicated to the different types of straps and when to wear them, etc.

  16. Most men have a cheap dress watch, because it will only get worn with a suit on once in a blue moon, of which women are ignorant. The Rolex will cost 50x as much money, and that is why the men wear them with anything they want.

  17. in my opinion Ashley is that we can use sport watches in suits. However they have to be versatile such as an omega seamaster or a rolex submariner, not bug watches such as panerais

  18. buy some swiss divers like omega, rolex or longine. it fits in every day wearing, it water resistant, buying dress wathes just to wear it whit suit only is stupid, unless you have 500 mil and you buying Audemars Piguet or Patek Philippe just for fun to wear them a few times

  19. Yeah sucks, how about Robert Downey Jr wearing a Patek Nautilus with suit? I dont think its wrong, it still nice and classy to be wear with suit.

  20. I disagree with the straps store. Yes they are good in price point but they feel super cheap. I bought about 6 of them to take advantage of bulk pricing and because of reviews. I haven't worn any. I much rather spend a little more per strap and have a good quality strap like Hirsch or Dasari or Colareb… You can get them from 19-45… But they are good quality and much much better

  21. i just wish there were reasons for why certain watches look "amateur" other than arbitrary rules that every fashion expert agrees with; i.e. are there biological or psychological reasons why a sport watch doesn't look good with a suit? For something as subjective as fashion it seems weird to hear these people talk in absolutes

  22. If its good enough for James Bond, its good enough for me, and it seems he would give this video a 'Thumbs Down'!
When i said; "If its good enough for James Bond", I didn't mean the period when BMW was the 'Bond Car' of choice!

  23. There are MANY dress watches that have stainless, silver, or gold bands. Leather is not your only option with a suit. I have an Omega DeVille that has a very elegant stainless band.

  24. Excellent video 👌. Was pleasantly surprised by the options presented; those are classy heavy hitters. As always, appreciate a woman's perspective on men's fashion.

  25. I own:

Seiko SNK086 on a nato strap. Mainly used in summer but is very durable. Highly recommend it as it’s only $85. Got it in college and haven’t looked back.

Omega Seamaster on a stainless steel bracelet with a black dial. I first saw it in James Bond and have been in love with it ever since. Treated myself when I graduated from law school.

100th anniversary Cartier Tank. One of the most iconic silhouettes of all time. My wife bought me it on my wedding day.

Rolex Datejust with a white dial, crowned bezel and jubilee bracelet. Got it the day my son was born.

IWC Portofino which I was gifted on my 30th birthday by my mother.

Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi with a jubilee bracelet. I really fell in love with the history so i decided to buy it when my second son was born.

As you can see I try to only buy watches on special occasions as it limits my spending because I have been known to splash the cash at times. This is the perfect amount of money spent on watches as I can still afford a nice car and house but still enjoy this expensive hobby that is horology.

By the way this was a great video but I do disagree on the fact that you have to wear a leather banded watch when wearing a suit.

  26. She’s crap. Trying to turn guys into metrosexuals. Reminds me of an old girlfriend of mine. Ignore her advice.

  27. I feel some of these points, such as sports watches with suits, is a little out of date as the world has moved on beyond having strict rules about this stuff. And to be fair, if <1% of people would think it important and that a particular ‘Don’t Do’ looks bad, 20% would think the same thing looks good, 30% wouldn’t care either way and 50% wouldn’t even notice.

  28. damn i just want a 20 dollar watch jesus fucking christ isnt it enough, i cant afford apple watch or some shits i can only afford my shitty xiaomi watch. Just tell me a god damn cheap watch

  29. Why do I need a chick to tell me about men's watches? Hmm maybe I should make a video that tell women what bras to wear and what tampons they should be using.

  30. Are white dial watches wearable on evening formal occasions? Is it for day & night or do we have to wear black dial watches during evenings ?

  31. Ha! Just purchased a 250 dollar Tissot with a black leather band, white face, silver case and it's 39mm which is nice because I have somewhat small wrists. I think I nailed my watch purchase without even watching this video. Nice to be validated on my choice of watch though.

  32. I think a watch that every man should own would be a seiko 5 in one of it’s many forms. It’s a simple and classic design that works very well with a wide array of styles.

  33. I definitely prefer a nice blue dial over white. And it matches often just as much as white since you'll often have a light blue shirt, Navy tie, blue pocket square, etc.

  34. I'm a business executive. This is one area where your perspective as a woman is less valuable, not to be sexist. Business men see watches as a status symbol and they know what you're wearing. If I met some of our clientele or partners wearing some of the watches you recommended or suggested they follow these rules, I would be judged for it. Patek Philippe and A. Lange & Sohne make dress chronographs for a reason. They're meant to be worn with a suit. I wear a Hamilton Chronograph with my suit everyday and oddly enough it's part of the reason my interview with my boss went well, he noticed.

  35. so a Datejust with suit it is wrong?? sorry but you don't know even the basics… also, 44 mm watch with suit?? Jeez!!!

  36. There are a lot of dress watches with stainless steel bracelets. Not all dress watches come with leather bands. Not all sports watches have stainless bracelets.

  37. Leather or nylon is a strap.
    Metal is a bracelet.
I wear whatever watch out of my collection that I want to wear.
Do men really need to listen to advice from a woman telling what men should do?

  38. Great video. I can’t live without my Apple Watch so based on your recommendations I’m going to buy different straps and change the faces for different events. Thanks.
